Different Kinds of Warts
There are several different types of warts. It is important to know which type you are dealing with in order to properly treat the problem so you can get rid of warts fast.
Common- These warts are usually caused by HPV infection of the skin. The virus usually penetrates broken or cut skin. These warts are usually painless and can vary in size.
Genital- These warts are located or and or around the male or female genitalia. The can very in color. Genital warts usually appear to be gray or white but in some cases may match flesh tone. Genital warts are usually spread through sexual intercourse.
Plantar- These are common warts that occur on the sole of one’s feet. These warts may be accompanied with pain due to the fact that they grow inward towards the sole of the foot. Public showers and change rooms are all common breading grounds for planar warts.
Oral- These warts are found in on and or around the mouth. These warts are usually quite small and painless. Due to there location these warts are often difficult to treat.
Filiform- These warts are often known as facial warts. They occur on an individual’s face. These warts are similar to common warts and are usually painless and benign.
Hand- These are common warts on an individual’s hand. These warts are generally painless and may occur on the palm or back of the hand.
Flat- These warts are very small and have a flat surface. These warts tend to be most common in children and young adults. These warts commonly infect and individual’s face.
