Information About Using Tagamet for Warts

Tagamet for warts is becoming a very popular treatment among wart sufferers. Tagamet is an oral pill usually used to treat stomach disorders. The pill has been proven to be safe and usually has minimal side effects. Researchers have found that patients have started using Tagamet for warts. Wart sufferers that coincidentally happened to be on Tagamet for stomach disorders began to notice that their warts were disappearing. Doctors and other medical professionals began to research the effects of Tagamet on warts. It is believed that Tagamet activated some sort of an immune response; possibly an increase in immune function, that kills off the HPV virus leaving patient’s wart free. Research shows that Tagamet stimulates T-lymphocyte levels. These White blood cells control viral infections such as warts. Several studies have been done to test the effectiveness of Tagamet on warts. Clinical trials have been consistently providing evidence of its effectiveness in wart removal. One of the major benefits of using Tagamet for warts is that it does not scar. Many traditional wart removal methods may result in scarring. The typical dose of Tagamet for wart removal is usually around 800mg per day for an adult. This treatment is becoming more popular among dermatologists. It seems to be more effective in treating warts in children than in adults. Remember to contact your dermatologist before trying any method of wart removal to discuss side effects and see which method is best for you.
