Side Effects
Side effects with Tagamet (cimetidine) are fairly rare and will generally subside once the medication is stopped. Minor side effects can include diarrhea, fatigue, insomnia, headache, constipation, muscle pain, vomiting, and nausea. Major side effects can include enlargement of the breasts, impotence, hallucinations and confusion, decreased white blood cell counts. Also watch for irregular heartbeat, rashes, visual changes and allergic reactions.
How to Use Tagamet for Warts
Take Tagamet (cimetidine) by mouth and can be taken with or without food as directed by your physician. When using Tagamet for warts the directions will vary from it’s typical usage as a stomach pill.
